Makan Review: All About Mee, PBD

For those that haven't been to Pusat Bandar Damansara (PBD) recently, I think you'd be surprised by the number of eateries and outlets there (as compared to like 5 years back when I used to go college there...).

Last Friday I was introduced to a girl by a friend and the girl happens to run a restaurant in PBD, which is conveniently located near my office. So I promised that I'd dropped by one day to try out the food (noodle) there. I didn't realized that that one day would come about just 2 days after knowing her. Coincidentally a friend wants to pick up his new passport at PBD, so he asked me out for lunch, and I suggested we check out the place...

All I know about that place is that it is located on the block right behind McDonalds. But do look for this shop named All About Mee (appropriately named), which is next to a bakery called Roti Man (a grown-up Rotiboy?).

There isn't too much choice on the menu. They have a couple of Thai Green Curry noodles, Asam Laksa (I think) and some other noodle dishes. I settled for a Fish Ball Noodle Soup. When the food arrived, I was surprised by the size of the bowl... it's huge, at least twice the size of the BIG bowls u get at hawker stalls. All for only RM 5.90++. Quite worth it for a simple quick lunch. My friend had the Thai Green Curry noodle and he said it was alright.

The place is normally busy during lunch time, it opens in the morning and closes off at 2.30pm.
