Zouk Fest @ Genting, Saturday, 5 March 2005

Hi all, since Janice wrote such an interesting blog, I think it's time for me to contribute something.

So, my previous rave experience really sucks (if you forgot how sucks is it, please check the archive), which makes me really hesitate to go for this one when a friend invited me to go on friday, the day right before the party. Additionally, I need to prepare for my trip to Brunei on the following monday, so I really want to reject my friend's offer oredi. But unfortunately, this friend, who I know from friendster (kudos to www.friendster.com, the best chic-knowing-tool in the world), looks really hot in her friendster profile. So to hell with the previous rave experience, and to hell with the bloody business trip!!!

Saturday 2pm, I drived right to her place to pick her up, and to my surprise, she's in her clubbing outfit oredi, this early in the afternoon! She's wearing this black bikini top inside, with a black see through long sleeved shirt, and the bottom is a light blue short skirt. Up and up the hill we went, not much jam, considering that the Joey Rong's concert is at the same day, it's really a better idea to go up earlier. In less than an hour time, we reached First World Hotel, where we were supposed to join her friends, who had a room for the night here.

3pm, we met up with the friends at their room and spent some time walking around genting. With nearly every single male creature staring at my partner (because of the top, of course) who i was holding her hand and walking besides me, I have to admit that it feels not too bad. But alas, like any other happy moments, I could only enjoy this for about an hour. So what happen next? The ticket queueing nightmare, you can't imagine how fucking hard it was to get a rave party ticket this late, it was just too last minute! But with some funny and stupid tricks, I manage to get one, legally, of course. The details? Stay tuned for the next part, which I will talk about how I got the ticket, and the whole Zouk Fest experience.
