Movie Review: Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith

Finally, the missing link of the Star Wars stories are revealed. The final of episode of the first trilogy is really the bridge to the original Star Wars series.

The movie starts off where it left off the last time, with Anakin Skywalker fulfilling his destiny to be the one Jedi to end the presence of the Sith. But is he? We all know by now that Anakin did not become the Jedi to eliminate the Sith. Instead, he became one of the Sith's most powerful lord, Darth Vader. But why and how did Anakin became Lord Vader? It's all revealed here in this episode. This episode also detailed the rise of Senator Palpatine to become the Emperor of the Republic, why the Jedi Masters (Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi) are into hiding, and how Luke and Leia were separated.

In all, this movie in itself, doesn't really overwhelmed you with details, but it is perhaps one of the more important of the series. The effects and actions of the scenes are all done wonderfully, perhaps really the best in all 6 Star Wars series, not surprising considering the technology available to George Lucas now compared to the first episode released in 1977. But what George Lucas managed to do is that he manages to use technology to bring us back in time... his creations in this 2005 release will mesh seamlessly into the 1977 release. I'm sure if you watch the episodes back to back, you probably can't tell that this episode is created 28 years after the first one. That shows how visionary he was when we created the show.

I can't wait for the DVD box set to be released, so that I watch all 6 episodes back to back.
